That's excellent Eddie. How about some tiny neodymium magnets like you did with the control cavity cover? It's not as though it's likely to get knocked off, dislodged or lost in that location beneath the strings. でつ e&oe ... The magnets I have on hand are too big for this. I had already thought of it. LOL! I can look online to see if they have anything smaller. But, since I don't plan on getting in there too often, I could use a little two-sided tape. Hum... EB

Well, after some thinking on my part, I took Steve's advice about the magnets to help hold the truss rod cover on. I got it to work!
The only thing I did was I glued the magnets in the wrong way. They were pushing away and not attracting to each other. I used my heat gun to get the magnet off the truss rod cover, so I could turn it the right way. LOL!
Worked out fine as can be. Thanks, Steve!
Now it will be on to my next project. Hum... What will it be?

Seriously though- I used a vast string of neodymium magnets to hold on my bath panel and have no fasteners spoiling the effect. It worked a treat, but the plumber we employed* thought I was doo-lally until he saw it working. Ha!
*I carried out a bathroom refit thirty years ago, but I'm too old now for all that crawling about and wrenching compression nuts to stop leaks!
