I don't know if all remember this wood or not. But I was able to get it glued up today. I'll put my last video of me showing the same wood after I planed it again.
It is now sitting and waiting for the glue to dry. I hope it comes out alright. I wound up using all of my clamps on it. What I did was I did a dry clamping and left it that way for days. I looked at it this morning, and it looked OK. I put some glue on it and when I wet to clamp it up I had to clamp it like I was zipping up a zipper to all the gaps to close up. Seems like every time this wood gets wet for the glue, it starts to move on me. But, like I said, it's all clamped up. I'll take the clamps off tomorrow and see where things are at.
Once I see what is going on with it. I try and make a decision on what kind of guitar it's going to be. But we will have to wait and see how things go. EB

Getting closer to a big maybe of using this on my next build. I unclamped it and did some thickness planing. It is looking pretty good. Going to let it sit a day or two and look at it again. I want to see how it responds to me taking off dome wood.
I may go ahead and make this into my body design that I used for the Eagle Blues Guitar and for my all teak wood guitar. This one will get 2 humbuckers or two P90 pickups in it.
I was thinking of building my first electric guitar. But I think I am going to order me some other wood for that. I also want to build another guitar. A Tele kind, I want to do a spin-off of Dane Route 66 guitar. I found some cool fabric I think I'll buy. I also still have my other fabric guitar I need to finish. I'll see how it goes.
The weather is changing here and cooling down. So that is better.

It looks like everything is a go on the neck through. Here is a short video on it.

Here is one idea I am thinking about.
Here is some spalted maple I have had for a long time. I think this will work as a top for the body wings.
Thinking of using these body wings I cut off from the Eagle Guitar build. They have a crack in them. But what I am thinking of is chambering the wings and putt on the maple top. Or I may glue the tops on without chambering. It will be a while before I decide. I may go get the wings and bring them into the house and wick some CA glue into the cracks. That should help.
I was going to buy some new wood. But the priced (online) are nuts! I hope tomorrow I can get out to the shop and start doing some cutting of wood. LOL! Been struggling, I have had a couple of attacks dealing with my brain stuff. Taking me a long time to measure out things on this project. But I'll deal with it.
It feels good to go out to the shop, even if I can't stay out there too long. I figure this build will get done when it gets done.

Good attitude, gets done when it gets done. I would at drill holes in the wings to lighten some. If not complete chambers. I wouldn't worry about the cracks in the too much. There's no stress on the body at that point. And like you said you could flood them with CA glue. It would be plenty strong. The tops look great. Some oil on those would really be amazing.

That's going to look mighty purty with all that spalted timber Eddie. Watch out for low level intellectual property emanating from the shop radio in your videos Bro'.

That is why you don't hear it in the second part of the video. I hope YT don't get on to me about it. No one can really hear what was playing (I hope). I'll see what happens or not happens.
The tops are not too bad as far as soft spots. Not like some others I have used in the past. CA glues can fix the spots it does have.
I do have some other ideas for this build. But those are a ways off yet. Not going to do anything today. Had another awful night. So I am taking the day off.

Coming along Eddie! That's going to be a very nice guitar.
I bought the Bosch colt router after looking at a few different brands on the jungle website. And it's a great router but on my radius sled it's hard to get subtle adjustments. So I bought one of those Hobo Freight routers and I just used it on the Strat neck radius. The adjustment on that router works a lot better. It did get pretty warm routing neck and pickup cavite's. And I wasn't really pushing it.
As copy right goes, until your channel can be monetized if you get a claim whoever the band or company is will get the money. Which is about 5 cents after 100 views. Happened to me on my very first video. Beach Boys.
