I've posted these here before, but here are my three electrics: My baby - been through several overhauls through the years. I'm thinking about replacing the plywood body with an offset design in basswood or poplar: I love the sound of the P90s in this one. I saved it from a poor man's 335-style conversion done by a previous owner. It's a Silvertone 1446L, circa 1964: The r/w/b Frankenstrat I built from a Saga kit - you can read the story over on the Saga Sagas section:

Great looking guitars guys, love those acoustics Chris! Here's mine, I'll try to go in order of when I got them: 2005 MIM Fender Telecaster in Agave Blue. Some minor mods. Here it is sitting next to my 2006 Epiphone Masterbilt EF500RA: Now for the Saga's: On the left is my first, a Saga ST-10 from 2006. On the right is my LC-10 from 2007: Here's the Coppercaster from this spring: And here is the latest, the Charleycaster: next will be the rest...

Ok, as far as amps go, right now I have two. First is what I use as a practice amp, just a VOX Valvetronix AD15VT from 2006. Great little amp, and perfect for messing around in the apartment. You can see it here in this picture: What I gig with is a 2007 Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. I love this amp! I use a lot of different pedals. Well, not really a lot, but a number of pedals. Most of them are overdrive/distortion pedals, because I like to have different sounds to play around with. I don't have a current picture, but here is the order: Boss TU-2 Tuner Boss CE-5 Chorus BBE Green Screamer - Overdrive ( love this pedal ) Boss BD-2 Blues Driver - OD Guyatone OD-2+ (coming soon) Digitech Bad Monkey - OD BBE Sonic Stomp That's pretty much it! It looks like a lot now that I see it all in a group. In the future I'd like to add a delay and volume pedal, but we'll see.

debeneto, the pickguard was pure luck. I picked up some flamed maple from a local exotic woods store and applied the same can of finish as I used on the guitar.

debeneto, the Masterbilt plays like buttah! I love it, every bit of it. It has an incredibly comfortable v-neck and a little wider string spacing. Like I said, I love it!

I'd like to post pics of my guitars. I built a web site but can't figure this one out. I have looked at the FAQs and the help section, no help, nothing on loading pics. Also I noticed when I signed up the list of no nos like profanity and religion. So whats the Karma thing about in the Member profile? I'm not offended just wondered. Any help much appreciated. Thanks. Dane

Dane Dane -- Here is the instructions on how to post a photo, courtesy of Chris Knowles: First post your pictures to a free picture hosting service, then add a link to your picture by clicking on the picture icon above the smiley row when you're composing your message. Paste the link to your image between the "IMG" tags. Second -- The reference to "karma" is not meant in a religous context; rather, it allows users to show that another user was particularly helpful (exalt) or difficult (smite). I don't think many folks actually use it. It comes standard with this board. Thanks, ADMIN

yeh so that went well ;D The dog is Missy. Sorry about the glare. If you look back to the previous post I have already labeled the pictures. But I will ad from left to right. Poplar w/ Maple cap, Maple one pc. neck. Walnut, Maple neck w/Ebony finger board. Alder, one pc. maple neck. A neck thru, First Jonah body style. 2006. Also a neck thru. Finished early 07. My real job slows down enough in the winter so that I can have a hobby. This is the latest build finished March 2008. Has a set neck into the back of the body( less heel ). My gig amp is a Peavy Classic 50 w/ 4/10s. I have a bunch of stomp boxes but in an effort to scale down what I have to haul around I got a Boss ME-50 and it has been working pretty well. Still don't have many patches made but it is fairly easy to set up. I also have an Aria acoustic, my first guitar from back in the 70s and a Samick es335 copy that had a broken neck when I got it. And yes I was there and I can remember it. The 60s to. D Q, Is it alright to link to our personal web sites?

debeneto, yes I did build these guitars all but the mim Tele of course. Credit where credit is due. Thank you for your comments. I have assembled a parts guitar way back for a friend but there is just some amazing personal satisfaction in design and building from scratch. The neck is most of the work with layout, truss rod, frets slots and fretting, carving the neck is a blast.
I'll wait on linking my web site until I hear from one of the admin guys but thanks for the thumbs up.
Dane
