Sounds great. I think you may have demo'd it before? I like the neck/middle best. The video quality is vastly improved Eddie, and the audio is as good as it ever was. I also like the way your demo playing highlights the rhythm as well as lead, Jimi would have approved.

Sounds good Eddie. Like what I said over on the you tubes, all your guitars sound good so it must be you. I need to rehearse a riff or progression that I can demo with. I never practice and always fall back to stuff that's copyrighted and or try to do something close. Anyway it always just sounds bad, playing wise. Then people get a bad feel for how the guitar sounds.

Then people get a bad feel for how the guitar sounds. Yes, I try and stay away from known titles. Everything you hear me do is right of my head. Some of the things are made up on the moment. Mostly I am trying hard for people to hear the guitar. The thing is, and you know this about me, that a lot of what you hear is me. LOL!
No 2 people sound a like. Nor do we all play alike. Even doing covers no two sound alike. But I use to be a really good sound tech. At least people use to like how I can make them sound good over a PA including acoustic guitars. I love good sound! Years ago I did a lot of reading on setting a sound board and the rest became experience. I use to have my own sound system. When I wasn't using it for my music team, people would hire me and my system for all kinds of events. I got paid pretty well. It didn't take long for the word to get around. I was busy all the time. But, I am glad those days are behind me. I don't think I could haul and set up anymore.
But thanks for the kind words.

I have to say this guitar surprised me when I played it. She really does sound good. I do wish I could play it a band setting, to see how the guitar would do. I also keep on messing with where to put the phone to get better videos as far as lighting goes. So far it's been a hit and miss.

Nice video Eddie, I preferred the 4-string obe to the other two.
Slides are a whole subject in themselves. I have about eight slides. My favourite is a blue Italian Murano glass example made from a bottle neck, but I have a super mega thick and heavy cranberry coloured crystal one too that I really like. Another one that gets lots of exercise is a heavy Robert Johnson bronze (tractor bushing I believe?) which I had the stupid engraved part machined out and a length of a section of bottle neck let in. Best of both worlds- a heavy bronze slide with the option of glass toans!
A Michael Messer "Wolfram" tungsten carbide slide sold on eBay last week for £122 (new price £336!) and then there's the pretty much unobtanium "Tribotone" slides and bars. One thing I do know- "Pyrex" slides are not amongst my weapons of choice. Slides are a massive subject. Should be in the Rabbit Trail perhaps?

But here I am. LOL! But now that I have them I'll have to start using them again. But everyone that plays with a slide have their favorites. This time around I really like the brass one.
I have made a lot of CGB's. I use to sell them. I could sell them fast than I could make them at one point.

Well, here is a video of the wood and sandpaper. I don't know what happened with this video. It uploaded with the image going the wrong way. But you can still see the wood and sandpaper.

Got the wood all put away today. I made room in my closet. The wife helped me out to rearrange things.
Along with the teak wood I have, I now have a good selection of woods. Plus the wood makes the closet smell good! LOL! Feels good to know I can now go to my closet and pick put wood for my next build. I looked up on of my on line buys for wood. WOW! What a huge savings I have from buying the wood I just got. Now I wish I could do that when it comes time to buy the parts to build a guitar.
I wonder if I got a resale license? Hum...
Well, anyway, I am super excited to get started on my next guitar. I have so many ideas that I need to build running around in my head... LOL!
Now the people around me will be saying.... What's he doing up there? Whats he doing with the routers and saws a going? Whats he doing? LOL! I'll never forget that... HA! HA! HA!

It's good to know you could just start a build with what's on hand. I just had some top wood given to me by a buddy of mine. It's spruce that was rejected by Ovation 50 ago or something like that. It's good stuff it just didn't make the cut. I haven't had a chance to sort through it yet. My buddy just said take what you want and he'll take the rest back. I guess I need to get busy making acoustic guitars.

here are a couple of pictures of my wood pile.
Depending on how I use this wood I figure I can build 4 to 6 guitars. If I do set necks I can get 6 guitars out of the wood you see. But you all know how much I like neck through guitars. If I do 2 of them I can still get two set neck guitars.
So I should have enough to keep me busy for a long while. The thing is I have to be able to afford the pickups and hardware for the builds.
