If it's OK, I thought I would start posting my UT videos on here. I did one today. so here it is.
Since it is so how and humid right now. I am going to do videos of the guitars I have built. I think I am going to try and make some more this week.
I have a bunch of my Kustom built guitars. Many of them people have asked to see and hear them. So that is what I'll be doing. Even 2 of my cigar box guitars.

Well, I learned how to post these videos through my phone. It takes a lot less time to up load them. I was going through my computer. It took like 4 to 5 hours for them to up load. But through my phone it takes around an hour.
So, for now that is the way I am going to load the videos into You Tube.
Trying to figure out how to splice two videos together. But, my phone only has super simple editing on it. It is such a hassle to down load the videos onto my laptop. I was trying to do that yesterday and MS and my iPhone was not being nice to say the least. That is why I did right from the phone. Got tired of messing with it on the laptop. I hope you all are enjoying my videos. Please don't forget to give me a thumbs up while viewing them. If you have not subscribed, please do so. It only take less than a second to do so. Thanks! EB

You're getting a good representation of sounds on your uploads Eddie, and I totally concur regarding giving distortion the swerve.
On that cool pine-hog Tele, with the tooled leather pickguard, does the four-way switch have a series position or is it just an additional fixed capacitor treble roll-off setting a-la Esquire and very early 1950s Teles? If it is a series mod- did you have to do the neck pup ground wire mod?
I appreciate the time taken do this Eddie, I'm always recognising what Dane does in that respect too. Your demo playing is always worth listening to alone.

I have done that mod to a lot of teles. When I was in AZ I was doing this a lot to customers Teles. I liked it so much that I started to do it to my Teles. The one in the video is the fist one I did for me.
I am surprised at how good the sound is coming across. The hardest part of doing the videos right now is the lighting. I keep trying to find that sweet spot in my guitar room for the lighting. But, I think I am going to order me a stand for my iPhone. So that I can get a better angle for the videos.
Thanks for the kind words! EB

Sound very good Eddie. I like the look a lot as well. That leather PG is killer. I like a clean demo as well.at some point in the demo. Although I'm not opposed to hearing what they sound like in break up.

A little break up (like a bit of hair on the note) is fine, and we'd expect that from (eg) a little Deluxe which is cruising along comfortably, but in my experience the type of distortion which we see on YouTube clips sucks the bass out of guitars which doesn't allow a full appraisal of the t-o-a-n. There are mods for TubeScreamers intended to bring back some of the inherrently sacrificed distortion related low end. That said, so much of the music we like just wouldn't "work" without distortion (again in my limited opinion) and good as they are, I find a Roland Jazz Chorus to be too ascetic to be of use unless as a sounding board for a mountain of effects pedals. My two much loved Yamaha G100-112s are a little like the Roland and the very minimal distortion they provide works very well for me.

I have a demo coming up that will have distortion in it. I’m going to do another video of the Guitar Attack guitar. It has on board distortion in it. I also been thinking of showing both clean and dirty sounds. But most distortion I use is about the blues kind of sound. I haven’t played the heavy distortion in many years. EB

Here is the Guitar Attack parts build. I also posted the video on the Guitar Attack parts build that has been pined on the forum. I hope the video will show two things. The build and as to what happened to the pictures on the Guitar Attack parts build. So far the is the longest video I have done. I almost was going to do this in two parts. But I think I covered most of everything. EB

I promise to catch up up on these vids Eddie. I was just talking to my wife. I was telling her how disappointed I am with making the videos. I understand that people are busy with their lives. Please I am not getting on to you. LOL!
I have almost 200 friends on FB. I have asked them over and over again to go to YT and give me a thumbs up and subscribe. I have 8 people that have subscribed and only a few thumbs ups. Out of them 8 People only 4 are from FB. The other 4 are from YT.
I really don't want to make how to videos. I have been watching a lot of the videos of the Great Guitar build off 2021. Most of them put me to sleep. That's because it's the same thing over and over again.
I have been trying to come up with ways to make my videos more down to earth. I play music that I have written in trying to YT from shutting me down. The thing is I always suport what family and friends are doing on FB or YT.
Will, maybe I expect to much out of people.
My stand for my iPhone comes in today. I'll see how that work out. I have a lot of other builds that I can post. My wife tells me to keep making them because I enjoy making them so much. Pluse it gives me something to do. So, that is what I'll do. I now have 6 videos up on YT.

Hey Eddie -- Welcome to my world! That is kind of the Nashville thing..."Sure, bro...I'll come see you guys play...and buy some merch." Two weeks later: "Sorry man...something came up."
I've made a lot of videos. I just can't help but think there are so many now that people are kind of numb to the entire enterprise, and it has to be something really spectacular/weird/noteworthy to get people's attention now.
I recommend staying at it and something will eventually get some traction.
Good luck, John
