Yeah I like the tone too. But I am trying to keep this build different than what I have done before. I was thinking of two mini switches so I can completely shut off one or both coils of the stacked center. That way it would be almost like having 4 pickups. I don't know waht kind of tone it will give me over all. Will it give me a different tone if I can switch from the top to the bottom coil? I really don't know, maybe some one can help me out with this.

OH before I for get I need springs and screws for the P90's and for the stacked single coil (rings) I looked through my stuff thinking I had some but I don't... OK I found one screw and no springs. HA! I also need the neck screws I took them off one of my other guitars to get the neck on this. I get excited to see the neck bolted on.

I think I saw an add for a micro microwave oven, hmm ;D I also think that this guitar is going to require a special pick to play it with. I'm on the case. John and the crew

I got 3 wood files from Grizzly. one is flat, one is flat on one side and 1/2 round on the other (that's my favorite) and the other is round. My daughter got them for me along with a spoke shave. I have a cool daughter!

Hey looks great eddie! That tummy cut job is really sweet! You totally stole my idea on that back control plate though haha!
I needed something more natural looking for my LP so I considered cutting a wooden one from the existing one as a template. But you beat me to the chase haha!

Only thing is Don is, that this guitar is going to be in paint. So it will be covered up. But I am going down to the paint store this week and see if I can find a really nice yellow stain. If I can I'll stain it yellow then do the orange burst (in stain) This guitar will have a finish on it by next week. It's almost there. All I have left to do is drill for the wire channels and drill for the input jack and the ground wire hole for the bridge. After that it's COLOR TIME!!!

WOW looks really good Eddie! The yellow turned out great I am curious what it will look like with all the coats on it.
Did they give your custom color a name? Paintshops over here almost always do that when they make a custom color.
