Funny you should mention hot rod mags, I had a 30 model A with a small block Chevy engine. It was in a mag after I sold it and they were doing a make over on it. But they miss represented the running gear so all they had to do for the upgrade was to name it correctly. After that I never bought another rodding mag.

Well, I am giving an update on this guitar. After all the years since this guitar was built, she is still doing great! Right now she is being stored away, due to waiting on our last move. We have moved from AZ back to FL. We should be in our new home by the end of the month (June) But before we moved from AZ I got the guitar out and played her. She still sings great and plays great! The finish still looks great!
Once again you all will never know the full impact of this build hads given me in my life!
Thanks again to all the people that made this build possible and a Big Thanks to Guitar Attack!

I bet you're looking forward to the end of June and getting settled into your new digs.

That's great Eddie. I (thought I had) posted on FacePage that I had incorrectly thought the Guitar Attack Guitar was a project guitar organised by GuitarAttack, maybe as a promotion? and that others had built it too? Show's how wrong you can be when you make assumptions. It sounds really good and that's the best look at it I've had to date. I can now understand why you're so proud of it.

That was a cool project Eddie. Very great group of people have been involved on this site over the years.

With increased visibility comes an elevated level of monitoring and responses Eddie. Sometimes the devil is in the detail. I inherited "admin" on another Forum and the originator has now sadly passed. It's a small time outfit that makes GuitarAttack look like Times Square! I get the occasional query or request and I cannot but help to notice the time it takes to assist (or even just attempt to assist.) At the moment, a young girl (I think- you never know from a user name and avatar) is currently clamouring for admin rights so that (s)he can spray bling all over the forum (including (perish the thought) an on-screen clock, automatic referrals to FacePage, LinkedIn and Twatter et al. I am trying to drag my heels without being curt or dismissive because I feel responsible for the originator's creation and he's not here to canvass. I suspect John would recognise some of these sentiments, and Dane would definitely concur regarding the time spent monitoring, reading and replying to YouTube comments, even the less than salubrious ones!
When you get your iPhone stand, there may be an improvement with respect to the visual light fluttering caused by the ceiling fan. That's all though because the audio is very good in my experience. So far as your FacePage channel goes- I avoid FP as far as possible, so I have to make a special effort to view your videos on that platform. It's not a biggie deal but it's a fact. FacePage gives with one hand but exacts a healthy cost with the other. A veritable viper's pit.
That said, I like your relaxed presentation style Eddie, and Best Beloved said "He seems like a nice man!" so you're doing things well in my view.

You can chop up and then join clips using Windows 10. I think it's called Movie Maker or Movie Edit? (Something like that). I couldn't see it in the W10 Start Menu, so I typed "Movie" in the search bar and "Eureka!". So far, I've only used it to crop dashcam clips of idiotic and downright dangerous drivers down to a more manageable size! The trick is that you have to browse for and then add the clips to a "Timeline", crop, stitch or whatever, and then save your Hollywood magnum opus to a file. I don't find it intuitive to use, but then I struggle with software frequently! I'll bet that iPhone has a built-in utility to do it, or something is readily available in The AppStore (or whatever the Apple mob call it.)

If you have a Microsoft account (free to sign up for) then once signed into the account on Windows 10 (I have "Pro") it should offer to configure your 'phone amongst other things they want to set up for you on a massive splash screen. I always skip it though.
This is a typical example of why I won't have anything Apple sourced on my network.
