hi! I'm new here.I know everybodies sick of saga guitar kits but I have to ask , are they any good?? I'm wanting to re-create a strat I had in high school. Rory Gallagers strat looked GOOD compared to this! I hate to pay grocery money for a ender ratocaster!Please help!!

They are equivalent to many of the low end brands, but with a bit of care and attention to detail you can have a decent guitar when you're finished building one. Take your time during the setup and it'll play like a champ.

Thanks. After much reading on the 'net I have postponed my trashed strat revisited to risk a strat from guitarfetish.com. Most reviews I have read seem good and I can wear it out myself!! Wish me luck!!

Oops! Looks like I'm back to a saga! This from someone who owned a REAL HANDMADE B.C. Rich Eagle Supreme about 1984. Oh well! Marriage and children attack the wallet like jack the ripper.(wouldn't trade it though.)

That's why a real Les Paul wasn't in my budget as well. I do have a Gibson J-45 and a B-45-12 Deluxe both vintage about 1975. Plus a 1995 Epiphone EJ-200 jumbo. But now that we have kids and school tuition to pay, well.... I now have a Saga LP that I'm enjoying customizing!

WHOO!! My wife just upped my budget a little! I'm going to try a kit from international luthiers supply after a reply to one of my posts said their legit! I totally wish you luck on your Les Paul kit! You love Les Pauls, I love ash strats! Good year for everybody I hope!! A guitar after 5 years! YES!YES!YES!! I can't wait! Wish me luck that this great day doesn't bomb!! Love ya'll guys for the site and the people! THANKS!!
