Nobody remembers cracked (real) strat bodies for 50 bucks? Marshall heads TOTALLY TRASHED needs complete rebuild for 150 bucks? Luck of the draw parts? Closet finds? Water damaged chance it stuff? Les Paul with headstock broke off, 200 bucks? I know it sounds like total crap and junk, but really? A Les Paul neck replacement? Save 500 off new guitar price!! REAL Marshall amp chassis with tube sockets? Yeah price that now! What happened to the good old "junk" store? I miss it.

Hey Litterboxx -- I remember those stores, too.
I remember when if you needed some tuners for a guitar, you'd go ask the guy in the shop to let you rummage through the junk box. How many old PAFs did you see laying around after Dimarzio hit the scene in the 70s?
That is the kind of stuff I miss with Guitar Center!
