todat we finally had our first band practice ;D and I can tell you one thing.... It was so much fun ;D unfortunate the other guitar player couldn't be there so that kinda sucked but we had a great time and it didn't sound that bad for a first time either. We recorded it so I may post a mp3 file so (if someone wants it) you can listen to it We're going to meet up over 2 weeks with all the band members so I'm quite excited for that Niels

Rover that would be very cool to get to do a set up like that. I know this guy that's on the road with a band as the guitar tech. Funny thing is I had no idea he knew anything about guitars other then he's a monster player, really incredible musician. d

I dont play in a band. Actually, I hardly play very seriously at all anymore. I just pick it up for a couple of hours at night and play with the same exact like 5 songs i know. Ive been playing for 4 years, and dont know a single song all the way thru. I absolutely cannot learn anything unless someone physically shows me how. I cant learn from tabs, I just dont get it.

I forgot why I started playing. Guitar heros or whatever. Course woodshedding is good to a certain point, but I didn't really take off till I started jamming with a couple of people and just making up stuff. It eventually turned into a band or two. Alot of Misfit and Dead Kennedys covers in those days! Ten years later, I think i know maybe three more chords!
I've gone thru a few ruts along the way. It's natural. My older brother puts the guitar down for years at a time. Never played in a band. I think he just loves the music mainly. I usually have to find him a guitar or bass when he decides to pick it up agian. It's cool.

This came in the mail yesterday. My ugly mug is on the lower right corner. We should have a few more coming out later next year. I think another reunion show in the near future too. I love vinyl!
