That was a sweet guitar. It's a total drag having to sell stuff to survive. I sold my my es355 copy cheap just to have the money for a bill. It sucks big time. Better then living under a bridge though. If I keep going this will get political and that's not allowed here, thankfully. One of the few places I can go and get away from it. d

dane, the thing that sucks tit about most of my guitars is they are one off's and i cant really get what they are worth. heres a pic of the old hamer. this was a prototype for the echotone hollow body series. inside label and s/n are signed by joel danzig and paul hamer. it will be missed but im taking a vacation to conn. next month and i get the pleasure of digging thru the basement and the racks in the r&d rooms at ovation and hamer. so i will be bringing some goodies home lol Attachments:

I bet we could start a massive thread of all the gear we've had to sell to make ends meet. I sold a late 1950's Kay Swingmaster to make rent once. Just like this one, but with a Bigsby-style trem: vintagesilvertones.com/forsale_gtr-silvertone1425.htmlI sold a Rockman Distortion Generator, Rockman Stereo Chorus, and a Yamaha RY8 to buy Christmas presents one year, and I sold a Les Paul copy and ART Rulesbreaker 830 combo to finance our honeymoon. I feel for you guys.

yeah but how many have had to sell off everything in trying to survive?
In the next week or two everything we have will be up for sale at a yard sale we are planning. I don't know how much of it will sell but we have got to do something.
I don't know what we will do after that. We don't have much left. And we all know you can't get anywhere near the price at a yard sale. I did have 12 Name brand guitar I have two left If can they too will be gone soon. Even the ones I built will be gone.
Even what little tools I have to make guitars with will be gone! I have sold off all PA, pedals, recording stuff! Most of the 12 guitars I had were guitars that I through I would never have to see go but they are gone and at this stage of my life I'll never get to see again. Everything I have worked so hard for will be gone! Just in order to survive a few more months. Then what? My only hope Is the my wife and I can find a job that doesn't require a degree! applied so 35+ jobs and nothing yet. Tomorrow I'll be applying at some more places.
