Chris, do you know of any good electronics suppliers in the Hamilton area ? I am going to start building my own effects pedals from schematics I found on the net, and I am trying to source all the parts out locally instead of mail ordering them. Oh, and another thing, I installed CTS pots in my Saga Tele to replace the stock ones, and what a difference they made ;D

Nedco at 515 Wilson Street Hamilton. Hours Monday to Friday are 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Sayal Electronics at 4380 Harvester Road in Burlington. Between Walkers Line and Appleby Line Hours Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
I did the same, huge difference. I tried .02 caps and found the tone to be a little bright for my liking. Switched back to the .047 that came with the kit and was quite happy. Now I'm considering installing a switch so that I can go between the different cap values for when I want that brighter tone.

Thanks Chris, I went to both websites and had a look around. I also went to this one dkc1.digikey.com/ca/digihome.htmlThey have evrything and more but I find the website takes a long time to navigate to what you want. I finally settled on this. www.smallbearelec.com/home.htmlIt is strictly a guitar effects oriented site with great reviews and is very easy to navigate to get what you want. I just finished ordering enough parts for 2 pedals that I want to build. Mark

Cool, I had forgotten about those two sites. I had found them a few months ago when I was looking at making a fuzzface pedal, then decided to get a multi-effects pedal instead.
