:-[No, seriously. It's a cheapo Yamaha acoustic guitar, and it's got holes in it. An Eterna by Yamaha EF-10 if that helps. I previously had installed a piezo pickup with an onboard preamp. I did it wrong and put the preamp/EQ as well as the output jack in the wrong place. Not that it affected it's functionality at all, it's just aesthetically displeasing. Well, I knocked the guitar over yesterday and the output jack busted through the side of the guitar and now there is a big ugly gaping hole in the bottom of the guitar near the endpin, about the size of a quarter. How should I go about fixing this? I am in the process of refinishing the badly banged up instrument. I will be replacing the output jack with one that you install in the endpin (it serves as a jackplate and strap button. NEAT!!!). I will be moving the preamp unit up to the upper left shoulder of the guitar (like most preamps). Now my only question is: How should I go about repairing the holes in my guitar? I'll post some pics later.

Go the Frets.com "Big Index" page, and select Control+F to bring up the browser's find dialog box.
Key in "Structural", and hit next. The structural repair section will be arrayed below the word "Structural".
Good luck, John
