Share your favorite Indi Bands

I'm really getting into Indi bands recently. Most probably because the production and music are more honest than what the big conglomerates are producing. Is anyone else into Independent bands?

For instance I just got the Kandahar Society CD's last week, and am really enjoying them. Great tunes and some interesting guitar work when you take time to listen with headphones.

Funny thing about Indie bands....the great ones don't stay independant!

I love Snow Patrol, they were huge in the Indie scene and now they have been launched into mainstream. I saw on YouTube Faith Hill and Tim McGraw singing "Chasing Cars." What is that about!
