I use 100w Marshall with Celestions 25w Greenbacks 4x12 and Gibson/Fender guitars.
I would like to try TREBLE BOOSTER, but I can't buy and try them all on my own.
Please, tell me, what do you think I should go for and why. I'm not after antique pedals, clones are OK I think at this stage, but I won't mind to learn more about first boosters.
What to purchase?
Thanks!!

If you need more high end, you're probably not going to get it out of that cabinet with the Greenbacks. That is part of the mojo of that cabinet -- it's got a pretty narrow frequency response, and the 25watt speakers tend to get really distorted when pushed. I believe the old grillecloth was a treble sucker as well.
I remember I hooked one of my old Marshalls up to a 4x12 cab with EV speakers once, and it made my amp sound completely different -- much more open and sparkly.
You might try one of the BBE pedals. The BBE process is pretty amazing, and it might just give you the top end you are looking for.
Good luck, John

Thanks, John!
Yeah... I can't change my 4x12. I like the way it sounds. Just want to have option using Treble Booster (and Attenuator, yes) I've heard about BBE. They should be good. However, I'm after Dallas Rangemaster tone. Would it do? Or I should try Germania by HBE or something from BSM (descriptions are great...), or Beano...
Thanks for info and your time!

I tried one of the Duncan pickup booster pedals, and it is pretty cool. It will give you about 25db of clean boost, and it might do the trick. I recommend trying one before doing a mod on the amp!
