I have met Dan and Dave Toler as they are from my home town of Connersville IN. A friend of mine named Bob Cook was given a drum set by Dave when he was a kid. The drum set was gone by the time we started a band together. I am not sure why. Bob's dad Ralph went to school with the Toler Bros. and used to jam with them in his living room. I got to meet them and Greg Allman at the Marion County fair. We got to hang out and ride rides with the Brothers all day. Just before show time we got to go into the dressing room and meet Greg. I'm sorry to say that he was quite out of it and kinda looked green. Bob's uncle and Ralph's Brother Skip got to sit in with the band that night and on one particular song, Killing Floor, i believe, Dan playfully put his right fist into his left open hand as if to say I'm going to beat you for showing me up on that lead. Dan is a great guitarist. Bob is now playing drums for a good Texas blues band called Mike Milligan and the Steam Shovel, here is the link to their site: mikemilligan.homestead.com/ Sorry for all of these posts, i just keep reading things on your site that are relevant to me. I guess i should have waited until i read everything and then posted. Thanks and keep rock'n Brian

Brian -- Thanks for the note. No need for the apologies -- I enjoy reading people's observations and opinions.
As for Mr. Toler, he has a new band and their music is posted on their MySpace site. The name of the band is "TMZ"...do a search and you'll find it. Plenty of tasty guitar licks. He is one of the greats.
