I've got a 2020 epiphone les paul custom that I cannot, for the life of me, get rid of the fret buzz on. It's only on the lower 3 strings (worst on the A) and mostly between the 3rd and 7th frets. It's had this issue since I got it in 2020 but I haven't really gotten around to getting this thing setup until now.
I leveled and dressed the frets myself, and went back just now out of frustration to make sure I didn't make any mistakes.
I then adjusted the truss rod thinking maybe it was too tight.
I then raised the action to a frankly absurd height.
Right now the neck is bowed so much it's obvious to the naked eye and the action is almost unplayably high, and I haven't even noticed the buzzing improve.
Other info that may or may not be relevant: It has a new set of d'addario .009-.046 strings, Stock tune o matic bridge, stock nut (very high from factory, if anything I need to lower it) and after market guyker locking tuners.
Any help is appreciated. I've frustrated myself beyond belief with this guitar but I really don't have the money for a Profesional setup rn.

John is correct in his assessment.
I think most folks have to much relief in the neck. Lots of YT techs are hung up on .012. I find the sweet spot is a bout .008. If there is to much relief the strings buzz from about 7 and higher. To little relief or even back bowed a little, the nut up to about 7 will give you trouble.
