All -- I am curious...have any of you seen any good live bands over the summer? Let us know about that killer concert.

I seen the Gin Blossoms about a month ago. They are one of my favorite bands even though they have fallen to the wayside. They just released a new album last week and it would be intresting to see whats on it. They played a few of their new songs at the concert and they sounded pretty good.

I got to see Jimmy Vaughan do a couple of sets during Austin NAMM. I love his biting Strat tone. Lou Ann Barton guested on a couple songs too.

OK...I'll pile on this. We saw(drum roll) Def Leppard and Journey at Starwood in Nashville in July 06. It was pretty killer. Journey had Jeff Scott Soto on lead vocals. I really like JSS, but he looked -- and sounded -- kind of uncomfortable. Def Leppard was particularly good. It was the third time I had seen them...yes, in all three guitar configurations: Once with Pete Willis/Steve Clark, once with Collen/Clark, and now with Collen/Campbell.
A high point is when Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman came in and sat down about two rows in front of us (yes, we had good seats). Keith was singing along...obviously a Leppard fan.
