Hey folks, the guy I built the CUSTOM 69' for just did a video of some of the pickup combos and treble bleed circuit. John wound this pickup set to be era correct to the real deal that Fender was making in 69'. youtu.be/3ElCL5-yKTc

Always happy to put your pups in a project knowing I can expect great results.
The bummer is my guitars and your pickups always sound better when someone besides me is playing them.

Sounds pretty good! I had a 69 strat once. But I don't remember it sounding that good! Too bad I didn't know John back in them days. LOL!

He wound them to my customers specs which were Fender specs. Used the same wire and the same fiber bobbins. John even even 3d printed the bobbins for my 335 bass to perfectly match the string spacing. Just an excellent guy to have in your corner for pickup making.

My MacBook Pro works but the screen is broken so the display is doing annoying vert lines about 3" wide on the right side. I had it replaced once because I dropped it. But this one just started on its own. They want over 800$ to fix it it this time. So I had my old Dell, the one That died three years ago, fixed. I'll probably use the Dell for general stuff and the Mac for video editing. I'll keep researching a cheaper solution for the Mac.

You don't have the replacement insurance on the Mac? $800.00 sounds a little on the steep side. You can get a Mac M2 mini for a lot less than that. That is what I use now. But you would need a monitor of some kind.
Mine is hooked up to my Roko TV. 55".
Sorry to hear about the Mac. Dane.

Zack made a good video there. It really came across with a great sound. Although he explained what kit he was going to use, there was no indication as he chopped and changed ancillaries. I just listened to the cool sounds. Props to you and of course John there Dane.

Thanks Steve. Zak plays well enough to get the sound across. He was a real good guy to work with as well.

Eddie I have a thing about buying extra warrantees on products. I think it would would out of warrantee after three years anyway. Plus I dropped it once and they don't consider that normal use. Think I'm gonna live with for a while.

Eddie I have a thing about buying extra warrantees on products. I think it would would out of warrantee after three years anyway. Plus I dropped it once and they don't consider that normal use. Think I'm gonna live with for a while. No, It's not a warranty. It's an insurance. The one I have for my iPhone and my Mac m2. Are covered for anything like even dropping them.
I, too, have a hard time in paying the extra warranty on stuff. But in some cases it has saved me. Like on one of my routers. I paid the extra warranty. It was covered for the first year, but the second year was the year the router burned up. I paid for the extra warranty and got a brand-new router. Didn't cost me a dime. They even shipped the new one to me for free!
That has been years ago now, and I am still using that router.
But it does pay to know what the extra warranty covers. On some, they do not cover some things. Like my top of the line table saw I once had. Somehow the fence for the saw got broken. Not covered. I had to buy the parts and fix it. The warranty was only for the saw itself. But in the paper work it says nothing abut that. Only when I out in a claim and they told me. Hum... It can all be a hassle when trying to put in a claim, and I think they make that way to keep people from putting in one. But if one will stick to their guns and make them honor what we paid for, it does work out sometime later on.
Well, sad that you are having problems with your computer.
