Well, I am well on my way to lessening my guitar numbers.
When I was in AZ and getting ready to move from there. I had a little over 100 guitars. I just did a head count, and I am now to 15 guitars that have cases and 4 without cases.
Once I finish the P0 build and the sparkle guitar, that will give me two more.
I do think I am going to see if I can sell off all of my production guitars in a package deal. The guy that wanted to buy my white LP custom EPI. Fell through. So that will be one that will be in the lot.
If I can sell them all at once, that would be better for me. I have done that in the past. But where I now live, that will be harder to do. No one wants to drive out where I am at. LOL! And there are some that think I have a business. WOW! Sorry, not where I live out in the country.
I have two LP EPIs one off brand tele with fender custom shop pickups and one Fender acoustic (electric). I would make a good deal on all them together.
No, since in keeping guitars anymore. I don't play out at all these days, don't see me doing anything ever again. So might as well let someone else carry on.
I do have one guy that is interested in one of my Kustom guitars. He wants to trade for a firearm (riffle) that he has. I may do that.

Eddie - Every time I get ready to sell some of my guitars I "chicken out"...and think why I need to keep them.
It seems like about all you can sell in Nashville now is a Jaguar/Jazzmaster or relic Telecaster or Strat clone. The more "relic" the better.
They mostly don't look like real relics; they look like weird or stylized takes on the relic genre.

That's a post I could have written John, all of it except I don't live anywhere near Nashville. Seriously though, the only ones I've decided I'd part with are a couple of self-assembled S-types and a handful of acoustics and there it all goes to pot because I'm in the fortunate position of not needing the cash enough to sell them for the pittance they'd realise. I've learned to accept the stalemate!

I can totally relate to what everyone has already said. I'v'e got way more guitars than I need or ever play for more than an occasional tune up. But what people are willing pay is so little that is pointless to sell.

I hear you John and Steve, I do that a lot as well. But now that I am slowing down with the playing, and it looks like we may be moving in with our son in the next 1 to two years, I really need to start letting guitars go.
But it is hard to let them go. One of the guitars is one I thought I wound never sell. Super nice honey burst LP EPI. Still like new!
Heck, I better stop talking about it, or I'll change my mind.
