Yes, we have been busy on the farm. LOL! My wife and I are building a chicken coop. There is a lot of old lumber laying around and I asked the land lord if I could use it to make one.
It's been hard on us in building it. We have to do it little at a time. In 4 days time we have the hen house almost done. I have one more wall to finish, put the roof on, make the clean out doors and get them hung and I need to make a door for the nesting boxes. Once I get that then I'll be making the chicken run.
We also put is a veg. Garden. We did that a week ago. I love being outside so much. My land lord side I can use as much of the land I want to plant and expand my garden.
I'll be back on the Eagle Blues guitar build soon and I'll be doing a video soon as well. I may do the video this up and coming week.
I am in a lot of pain but like I said I am loving the freedom of being able to do things I love to do. I start in the early morning then I have to stop around 12:00 pm to 1:00pm. Go in take a shower go sit in my chair take some pain meds and veg out for the rest of day. Right now I have my neck brace on in trying to get my neck to relax.
But as I sit here and look out my living room window and door and see how awesome it is to be here, I find myself saying... It is worth it! I wish you all could see where we are living. For us it just the right place for us in this spot in time. EB

No word from The Ponderosa (that's Spanish for "The map's on fire".) One can only speculate as to what he's building in there! ;<D でつ e&oe ...I'm just little over 4 hrs away from Virginia City, Nv. That's where the boys from the Ponderosa went when "they went into town". It's a real place, I've been there several times. Pretty cool old town. Riddled with mines that have caved in and swallowed things up, like cars. Yes Eddie, looking forward to seeing some shop set up pics.

I saw Marty Stuart play it live a few years ago (he was a Johnny Cash Band alum). As soon as that song starts, folks of a certain age immediately respond! John

John So many of the old TV shows had very catchy theme songs.

It's difficult to be certain but it looks like Buddy is using the Dano as more than just a prop in that gif. I guess I must be "of an age" too John!

That's great Eddie! Massive improvement! yep! I can move things around to get more room. I was told I can move the tool boxes over more if I need to. We are almost finished with the chicken coop, as far as the hen house goes. Got the roof on and did some other framing. All the hard stuff is done. I hope by the weekend to have the doors on it. Once that is done then it will be back on the shop. I hope in a few months I can buy a bigger band saw. But I may have to get me a better table saw. The one I have I think had a bearing going out in it.

Still very happy for you getting the "dream Shop". Always takes time to figure out the best location for work flow. But it's not like your are setting up an production shop and walking from tool to tool is good exercise. Ha! A bigger band saw is always a great idea. Especially if you can leave the small one set up for scroll work and the big one for resaw. That's what I've been able to do and it is so much nicer than changing blades out one one machine.
