I did this video for Dane. This is a guitar with PIO 033 caps in it. I don't think is sounds bad at all.

Sounds Very good Eddie! The tung oil looks very , very nice. Very surprised by the quality of the shine.

It sounded just great to me too Eddie. I'm quite sold on the Tung Oil finishes you get. I have promised myself that I'm going to do that on my little ukulele one of these days.

Yep! I think that Tung oil Finish has gotten a bad wrap form people that don't know how to use it. It did take me a while to figure it out. But I think I got it down now.
I don't use it like the can says. I may do a video on on it someday. I like how this guitar looks now than when I fist got it done. The maple wood has or the finish has darkened up in a nice looking way. I love it. So do many people that see this guitar.
My pastor really likes it too. He too is a guitar player. Great guy!
Thanks guys for the comps! Means a lot to me.

I forgot to say in the video, that I hand buffed this out. I did use any electric buffer on it. Took me like a week to buff it out. Again as you said it looks great! It looks even better in real life too. The video at least show how well the finish of the guitar came out.
The finish is like so many things... The key is not to rush it. Take you time. Let the finish do what it was made to do.
