Hi Folks, I thought of putting this on the rabbit trail but then figured it might be interesting to see what kind of awful guitars you all may have come across.

This is an off shore Epi acoustic with truly terrible brace notching. If you are not familiar with acoustic guitar construction the braces should be notched tightly into the kerfed lining.
















Also the top braces should be tight against each other and preferably notched under a bit.

Apparently the QC at this plant use the "Can't see it from my house" method of inspection.
