Not very often when I see something I like. But I do like this build. So cool to me. EB

I have just watched it Eddie. A British English accent for once! I was impressed with the way he used the feather edges rather than planing them down to flat. If he used a mould then he could have assembled them inside and sanded down afterwards? If he did that then there would be no tension from bent wood, and possibly as a result of that from what little I heard acoustically it didn't tick the boxes for me, but plugged in it was just fine. Thanks for the heads-up.

I love the idea of reusing wood for other things other than making a fire. Plus I found that it's cool that he and his wife work together to come up with these guitars. He has entered the Great Guitar build off. It will be nice to see what he and his wife come up with.
I really don't think this guitar was really made to be played unplugged. Kind if like the Tele acoustic guitars. For me it is someone thinking outside of the box somewhat and making something cool out of wood that most people would have put in the land fill.

Thinking of repurposed materials guitars perhaps better to be played amplified, this company makes reso electrics from Teles. The proprietor Andy used to contribute regularly on another forum I monitor. I think he may have been inspired by the National Resolectrics? sollophonicguitars.co.uk/Food for thought? e&oe ...

I've been watching Dave for sometime now. This was an interesting build for sure. I think it turn out very well but I am surprised it sounds as good as it does unplugged. Mind you it's not a great great acoustic sound. But that's why he put in the electrickery. And his wife art work is top notch! Dave also appears to be a genuine guy and he also makes lots of jigs and such along the way.
The resonator guys make some very cool looking guitars. Not sure how they exist when selling them so cheap. Parts alone must cost as much or more than what they are selling for from what I saw on their site.
