Hey all here is an update. We found a place to live. We are now in Foley Alabama. We rented a Condo 3 bed 2 bath. 1300 SQ feet. We live upstairs. We moved in last Sat. We got most of the stuff unpacked in the last 2 days. My wife and I are liking it a lot so far. Feels so odd not to be living with someone or having someone living with us. But we are enjoying the quite. LOL!
So, I now have a He room and the wife has a she room. HA! So nice to have a room for my guitars again. I'll post some pictures of it after I get all set up.
We also have a balcony (screened in ) It's nice to go out in the morning and here the birds singing.
So it will still be a while before I can get going on my projects again. But I am etching to get back on them.
EB
PS; We are so sore from this move. Yep, I am in a whole lot of pain.
But we found mussels that we forgot we had... LOL!

Thanks guys! It was funny the other day. I put my guitars in the closet. (walk in closet) I put all of the Gibson bodied guitars on one side and all of the Fender ones on the other side.
I yelled out to the wife " Come here now! I have a huge problem!!!" she came in all in a frantic saying " What, what WHAT?!!" I told her to look in the closet that I need more guitars to fill up the space between the guitars... LOL! I am surprised that I didn't end up in the ER. LOL!
We took the day off today from doing anything today. We are so sore. Moving is a lot of work! lol!

We've considered moving to somewhere a bit more "out in the sticks", but a lifetime's detritus is an ominous prospect.
You described it as a "Condo" Eddie? This kind of suggests to me that you are pretty much restricted to the confines of your man cave for any tinkering that you do? I sure know what that's like. I always look with envy at Dane's workshop and it's not just the space- it's the machinery and opportunities that the space facilitates. I do have a 10'x8' wooden shed, but it's so crammed with things which "might come in useful" that it's difficult to find a place to put my foot down without leaving the shoe behind!
I hope you are both comfortable in your new stomping ground for a decent while Eddie.

Well once again I posted something and then apparently forgot to push the send button before leaving. Grrrr! Your story about needing to fill the space between the guitars and Mrs. Blues putting you in ER made me think of an old joke but I don't remember it perfectly so bear we me please. A lady standing in a courtroom is accused of beating her husband to death with his guitar collection. Because " he loves those guitars more than he loves me". The Judge asks her attorney if she is a first offender, she responds "no Judge, first a Gibson then a Fender!" Sorry!! I think that qualifies as a dad joke.

Steve, have you seen Ben Crowe's tiny workshop shed he put up in his back yard, (garden)? It's very small but totally guitar only. It's surprising how much stuff he has in there really. I could certainly take a lesson from him on organization. My shop would feel much lager than it's 400SF.

Ho ho, that courtroom joke is prescient Dane. I fell over in the bathroom last Saturday morning and I have been sporting a beautiful shiner all week. Best Beloved says that I "fought the floor and the- floor won" but I reckon it must be domestic violence brought on by self isolation incarceration!
Trouble is that I can't actually remember falling over ...

I may not ever be able to build form scratch again, bit at least I have "He Room" to go to. LOL! EB

A;right here are some picture of the "He Room"
Here is the OP table for the guitars!
This is a baby's changing dresser. The top of this folds out. I thought this would be good for building model cars and other art things. I have all my arts stuff stored in it plus some other things for guitars.
That old Keystone acoustic you see in this picture is my first guitar That I had gotten back when I was 9 years old.
Whats in the walk in closet?
A few of my certificates I have gotten over the years.
Yep some expensive hat racks! LOL!
Can hardly wait to get back on my projects. As you can see I have lots of room. I am also itching to get back to playing.

That's very nice Eddie. Really great that you have a whole room to fill up with guitar stuff. I have guitars and amps stuffed into closets and under beds so that we can maintain guess room space for when kids come to visit. I am very lucky and happy to have the shop but I can't store anything clean out there because of all the wood dust.
It does seem like you put that together in record time like Steve said. Have fun with it my friend!

Be careful my brother. Your wife is a funny lady. I'll have that guitar riff stuck in my head for a while now singing, I fought the floor but the floor won, I fought the floor but the floor won.
