OK, as you all know by now I like to wheel and deal. So....
yesterday Dec.23rd 2019 I traded 2 of my guitars for this Fender Blues Deluxe reissue. It sounds amazing! This one I am keeping. Not going to sell it or trade it off. I had one I sold a few months ago. I rebuilt that one for me. But after I sold it I wished I had not. This trade started out with a guitar and an amp. My Fender Blues Junior iii. But then he asked me if I had any other guitars. So we wound up trading for 2 of my guitars. It was a good trade. I didn't have the much into the guitars, so why not. I wound up with something I wanted.
I do have the Blues Junior up for sale or trade. So I'll see what I get next.
I really like the new amp! It's like new! The sound of it is what I like in a tube amp!
Some one had changed out the speaker in it. That is a good thing! LOL it has a Celestion Vintage 30 12" in it. Great sounding! I would have changed the speaker in it anyway. The stock speaker in these sound OK, but no where near what this one sounds like. The last amp I had like this I put in a Eminence SWAMP THANG in it. I thought that sounded pretty good as well.
I had thought about doing the same thing to this amp that I did to other one. But this amp sounds really good just like it is/ So, I may not ever do anything else to it!

Well that didn't take long. Traded off the Fender blues Junior iii off for a MIM Fender Strat Deluxe with a hard shell case. He didn't want to give me the case in the start. But he wound up giving it to me with the guitar.
It has a contour heal and a flame maple neck. Noise less single coil. Sounds pretty fat. Not thin. Nice felling neck. Low E has some buzzing on some of the frets. But other than that it sound and play out pretty great!
I'll keep it for a while. But I will at some point sell or trade it off. I think my Yellow Start plays better than this one.

Well, I am loving my Fender blues deluxe! I don't think I'll ever let this one go. It has a real nice open sound to it. The reverb sounds really good as well. The only thing I am still messing with is getting that little bit of bite to it without turning it up really loud. But I'll get there. I just get tiered to quickly and have to stop. But I love the sound I have it now!
The strat that I got sounds really fat. It has the noiseless pickups in it. I need to have the frets leveled to make it a super player. I might do that. But I don't get anything extra out of them when I flip them. So I may end up flipping it. I have not made up my mind on it yet.
