Yeah I like that too Eddie. That guy has some real left brain ideas. Resin guitars can be really heavy though. I had one once- an "S" type that someone had floated as a loss leader in a magazine article. I later saw it for sale in the small ads. I rescued it from the dumpster where it had been headed, put together an "S" type, broke it down and consigned it to my dumpster instead. It would have broken a bass player's spine! I wish I'd seen that video some time ago because I clear epoxied a compass into the end of a walking stick handle and I couldn't lose all the bubbles even using a heat gun. e&oe...If I were still building guitars I would try this one. I think if I remember right he does say how heavy this guitar is. It is not lite. Around what my real 71 LP comes in at. EB |
