Hi all, Just got home from Nashville. I had a conference in town and while there went to see our faithful leader John Williams. He graciously took some time out of his very busy day to visit with me a bit. So we got some lunch and had a good conversation about... Wait for it... guitars and pickups. We also got to share about family and life in general. Good stuff.
John's on staff as a tech for Carters Vintage Guitars. Carters' has a very busy repair department with several techs. Sorry I didn't get any pics inside but they have a great website. link, cartervintage.com/

Tom is a super nice guy who was willing to share his time and stories with a complete stranger and who obviously does this type of work out of a deep love for the instruments and music.
We shared phone photos of some of our work and he forwarded pics of my skull guitar to a friend that might be interested. Very cool to have a guy that does relics of Pearly Gates say wow about your work.
Thanks to John and Tom for sharing time and knowledge with me. Much appreciated. And a reminder to all my fellow Guitar Attack friends of what a wealth of talent and knowledge we have have right here in in our fearless leader John Williams.
