Here's a diversion a little different from the main stream. I recorded it well over a year ago (and recording is far from my forte!) but I was at 999 posts on another forum so I uploaded it to YouTube for my 1000th post! (It's the way my tiny mind works!) I apologise for the recording quality- it was done using the internal microphone on an Android smart (sic) 'phone. It's called "Granemore Hare" (pronounced Greenmore) and it's about hunting over the hills for a hare with a pack of dogs. Any hare. Anything unfortunate enough to breathe probably, they're indiscriminate in my view. Wasn't it Oscar Wilde that described fox hunting as "The unspeakable in pursuit of the inedible"? The glissando bit in the middle is supposed to represent the huntsman's horn blowing. youtu.be/1XuLDedlyNkI learned this from tablature that I purchased direct from the composer (?) / arranger Martin Simpson. I'm sure you could watch his definitive version (which of course has the words too) if you search YouTube. It's in my preferred Cadd9 / Csus2 tuning (CGCGCD) and the instrument is a Stefan Sobell "New World" model. Now I no longer have an excuse to hide behind regarding John's request for a sound file! e&oe...
