All --
Twenty years ago this month the first incarnation of GuitarAttack appeared on the then-new world wide web. Hosted through an email account, the new site featured photos of my then-new Jeff Beck Les Paul project. Later in 1998 we secured the URL and moved the site to Guitarattack.com. We also started the first version of this forum in 1998, and it continues to vibrant and interesting (in my humble opinion).
Several years ago I personally rejected the idea of shutting down the site and moving the entire board to Facebook. I am glad I kept the site going, and I believe we are going to see a resurgence in websites and forums (fora?) as people migrate away from big social media.
I thank all of you - past, present, and future - for taking the time to visit and contribute. I have personally learned a great deal from reading the posts here and believe that there is much more to learn. Learning is a life-long journey and GuitarAttack has sure provided a lot of content for my personal journey.
Keep checking back, be sure to chime in, and keep working on those guitars.
Best Regards Always, John

John, this is a great place to hang out. And I agree there is a lot to learn from one another. Thanks for providing an environment where everyone can feel welcome regardless of where they are in this guitar journey. And congrats on 20 years!!

Totally concur with Dane. I've learned a great deal from the folks on here too. Thanks seems insufficient. I had no idea Guitar Attack went back that far. Kudos to you John for providing such a great platform for like minded (and it seems decent) folk.

Guitar Attack was the only site that helped me out back when I was getting started. Everyone one here helped me out a lot! Even when times were hard on me and my wife, you all were there. Remember the Guitar Attack build? Wow that was an awesome thing you all did for me, not to mention how some even helped us out with money to get us through the hard times, when my wife and I lost our jobs, and it took 6 weeks for unemployment kicked in. John, this is the best sight going... Hope it will be around for many years to come. Eddie ( Eagle Blues)
