Yes the refitting is a bit tricky but I just take my time and remove very little material at a time.

Neck resets are a black art to the rest of us and I have never watched any other videos on this but so what. We know that it's a costly and last resource exercise, so it's great to feel a bit more familiar with the implications of a neck reset and puts a different light on inspecting a guitar for potential purchase. Good stuff!

Do you use a basketball air fitting on the end of your fuel line! Looks identical to my setup.
Thanks for posting these.
In light of your heating pad being left on for a couple days, a shop tip to all reading this: Any heating, soldering irons, etc. should only be plugged into one power strip that also has one of the main shop lights tied into it.

Hoz, the steam tip is the tiny brass tube that came with a worm blower, you fishermen know what that is. I repurposed it.
Now I have to watch this video again to see which bass line.
The light idea is great but I hard wired my lights in the ceiling. I still swear I flipped the switch.

After giving my dime store advise yesterday on the light idea, I left a stove top burner on last night till it was glowing red and burning a pan! Our dog, whom will be called "Life Saver" from now on, woke us up by barking all crazy.

Dane, thanks for posting the video. Great info.
You Tube for some reason won't let me into my account. So I no longer can get to my saved people on there. I have tried to get them to send me an email so I can reset my password. But they won't send me an email. So I don't know what is going on. I may have been hacked. Don't see how that could have happened. But something odd is going on. Non of my password will work.
So again thanks for posting these videos.

The previous (and long anticipated!) video is first class Dane.
The latest clip is listed as "private" and I am being asked to sign in. I think this issue is related to the way that the video has been published?
Eddie, I think you should be able to sign in to your YouTube account using your google credentials. Is that worth a go? (or maybe I've got my wires crossed somehow.)

There is no way for me to get hold of Google as far as I can see to find out how to get back into my account. I have tried all of the so called help. Nothing is working. It won't even let me make a new account using my email, because it says someone already has that. Well, google it's me... Never have liked Google. Nothing but a big pain. EB |
