Hi guys, had an electric SG style guitar given to me and would like to know who made it. I've posted pics of it before but I can't find it to give it a hump. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Looks like it could be a Jay Truser You might look on eBay and see if it is. EB

Does Jay use a butterfly headstock logo? Also has a plywood body

Dane -- That looks like a mid-70's Kay SG but with a store-brand logo. I played with a guy back in high school who had one just like that (without the logo).
The giveaways are the pickup selectors and bridge -- definitely Japanese from that era.
My opinion only, John

Yes I did some poking around and found out what John just told you. From the 70's but all I got was Japan. So Kay would fit right in there. Cool old guitar though. At first I thought it could have been a Tesco. But I really think John has it right on. EB
