Hope everyone will have a safe and fun New Years... Please be smart and don't drink and drive. I have had one cool year here on GA... Got to see lots of cool builds and got to share lot of cool stories. I hope we all have as good if not better 2015. Thanks to all! Eddie (Eagle Blues)

Happy new year to you all. The definition of insanity is, repeating the same behavior while expecting different results. So this year I need to learn and use a scale other than the minor pentatonic if I want different results. Just sayin

Dane, I have been using a looper to do just that. I record on the looper some chords and play back to it using different scales. It's a lot of fun, and you can stack loops on top of loops. Wound up playing all day and most of the night. Plus I really am glad I traded for that classic 50. For me it has the sound/tone I live for.

Yeh Eddie, someday I'll prolly pony up for a looper. It would be a great rehearsal tool plus I've seen some very interesting live bits done with them.
Still have my 4/10 classic 50. Great amp just weighs a ton.

Happy New Year!
I've been having similar thoughts the past year. Been playing guitar for 25 years. I have fun with what I'm doing, but maybe I should turn to the next page!
Have yet to try any of the new Peavy tube amps. But, I'm not in the market for an amp either. I trust your guys opinions.

I love tube amps. I look for ones that need some work. That way I get them really cheap. So far I have had two peavey amps that I had to fix. Both were easy to fix. Dane I really am liking the 2 12 50. I was surprised at how lite it is compared to a fender twin or even my Jazz Roland.
That is the only down fall on tube amps. They are heavy. Now in days the solid state amps have gotten better. But I still like the tube amps, guess I'm old school and just can't move from the tube sound.
Dane, I am going to invest in a better looper. I like using it the best, out of trying to lay down and record a track. I love being able to stack sound on top of sound without loosing any pre recording sound. Lodes of fun!
