From dnic -
1. I (don't) see a way to start a new thread on my ipad while using the proboards app. Do you know maybe what I'm missing?
2. Also can't find a way to delete and repost pics in a thread. Some of the pics I have posted will not enlarge and I thought maybe reposting might fix the problem. Thanks for any help from anyone.
3. Also don't see a way to edit text. Previous post should have read "I see no way to start a new thread". And I have a lot of missing words other post I have not been able to modify. The modify button on the regular board is a life saver for us folks educated in LA.

Answers:
Start a new Thread:
When you open the app and sign in, it defaults to the "Latest" posts. To start a new thread,
1. Tap on the Forum button on the bottom of the screen - it is second from the left. You'll see the four categories in the GuitarAttack Forum: Announcements, Guitar Building and Repair, Play Guitar, and Swap Shop.
2. Tap on the category where you want to start a new thread, i.e. "Announcements". You'll see the name by itself -- tap again. When you do this all of the threads in that category will appear.
3. To start a new thread, tap on the icon in the upper right corner -- looks like a box with an arrow coming out of it. Tap on "New Topic".
You can use this to refresh the category, start a new topic - "thread", or open the forum in the web browser Safari.
Edit Text:
Tap on your post you want to edit on the gray border by your name and avatar -- a yellow border will appear around the post and a box will appear on top of it with the choices "Quote", "Share", "More". Tap on "More" and "Modify" is the first choice. Use this to fix text.
Photos:
With photos, you will have to delete and repost them in the individual post. I'm not sure how to get around that.
