Wow some really jamming tracks John. Really, really like the "Bottom" Thanks, Dane...really appreciate it. Recording that classical guitar was tough...really hard to get the clean chord changes. I think I'll stick to electric! The album has 12 songs...will post more soon. John

Thanks, Eddie. Like Sir Mick Jagger said, "It's a noise we make, that's all. You could be kind and call it music."
ROCK ON! John

John, thanks for the encouragement. As you know I got a Fender mustang IV. I have been learning how to use the recording program it came with. So far so good. I ordered a USB mixer that also comes with a recording program. That should be here in the next few day's. I have been wanting to get back into recording so I sold off some stuff so I could get back in to it. The programs you get with this stuff is not a full on recording. The one that comes with the Mustang is a 6 channel program. It may sound like a lot, but I have learned over the years that's not enough. LOL! Also sometime in the future I'll need to get a key board for some the other effects that come in the program. So a new adventure starts for me. The only thing I am a little disappointed in with the mustang is the distortions it comes with. To me they all sound like rubber bands, no mater what guitar I use. Is there something I am missing? On how to get the distortion to sound better??? Once I get the new mixer, I'm going to try and put the mustang through the board to see if I can get a better distortion tone. But all the other sounds/tones I can get from the amp are awesome!!! What is your cause??? Be cause you need it! HA! Just messing with you! EB

Eddie ......try Reaper, it's free to try and really cheap for a licence. It rivals Cubase, ableton etc.. www.reaper.fm/I use this on windows 7 with a basic m-audio fast track pro usb audio interface, not expensive really to produce some great results I do now also have an m-audio nv10 FireWire mixer and audio interface....which I love and is ideal for a home setup when you don't have much space....it is unusual that it has 10 channels in an out via FireWire port...most similar devices will have all the inputs yo your computer but only stereo outs back to the device
