Anybody know how what kind of glue would work best to glue the neck back to the round back plastic of an ovation? Started splitting away, but didn't break, just want to reinforce the joint.

If I were going to glue a neck to that fiberglass back, I would probably use Gorilla Glue.
Warning -- any mistakes with Gorilla glue are normally "un-doable". That stuff is like concrete when it dries, and it will bond just about anything.
There is no doubt this glue will hold it, but there is some risk in using it...try it at your own risk!

I would take it to a professional repairman. My dad worked at the Marion N.C. Ovation factory till they shut the doors. I've heard him talk about some of their repair work and have NEVER heard of a cracked back. Unless they have completely redesigned those things they also have a BOLT ON neck as well ( two bolts you can reach through the sound hole ). The backs weren't fiberglass ( at least then ) but some composite used in military helicopter rotor blades. That stuff takes to good glue HELLISHLY well so be careful if you try it yourself!!! P.S. I'm just curious, is it a stress crack or some accident? I knocked mine off stage at school and it just BOUNCED, no lie , no damage!!

Good call, Litterboxx...
If you are confused, take the guitar to a good repairer.
As we've said before, the bitterness of low quality lasts long after the elation of low price has worn off!
