All -- I found an old Ibanez V-2 pickup in one of my project boxes. It is in good shape and sounds great.
Believe I will sell it...It is double-cream and very killer. PM if you are interested.

Not familiar with V2 but double cream would indicate humbucker. Is it a two or four wire and does it have alnico or ceramic mags. Thanks

It looks and sounds like a cream Dimarzio Super Distortion. It has two conductor wiring and I believe it has a ceramic magnet.

Have you metered the out put? And can you give a price or something you might desire in trade. I know we could do this in PMs but you might have a better chance of moving it if more folks know the details.

Dane -- The pickup has a resistance of 14.85k at 70 degrees F. I checked the output against a Dimarzo Super Distortion and it is comparable. Here's a link to the Tweet and photo: twitter.com/#!/guitarattack/status/192936909100691456/photo/1 Old ones like these sell in the $100 range when they show up on eBay. I'd take $50 for this one (it is a little reliced) or a trade for an interesting stomp box or .... John

After having this auction on eBay for a week I can say for sure that there is such a thing as a "dumb question"! lol
Whew - I am getting a barrage of questions on all kinds of subjects. It is pretty clear that if you want to sell things on eBay, you have to devote some time to it.
It is pretty clear also that people are getting used to not doing research and just blurting out questions, expecting an immediate -- and I mean immediate -- answer. 50% of the questions I've received could have been answered with a quick Google search.
Off to eBay....

I know when I buy off eBay, I will ask a question to a seller at times even if I know answer, just to see if they do respond back. I feel of a seller won't respond or give me some smart A$$ answer, I wont but or bid. But is the respond slow that is OK with me as long as they respond in a good way. I have been selling a long time on eBay and have been stung a few times in buying stuff. So I do everything I can not to get stung, and one way is to ask questions. If someone is on the up and up they will get back to you. But now there are a lot of dealers selling on eBay and they give the excuse they are too busy or don't have the man power to answer the questions. My thing on that is, if they are not going to respond to emails, then they need to be clear about the stuff they are selling. I find that most of the stuff on eBay is way to vague on what they are selling. I have been buying some stuff from China, and they have always respond back to me with a lot of respect, and some of them will email me after I get my item to make sure I got it. I think we could all lean some things form them. EB
