Just got this '80's vintage YAKIMA jackson rr copy. Model designation is: H771KT/CAR. The "CAR" is "candy apple red". Came with it's OHSC. So far, nobody I know has any information on the brand name, or this particular model. Factory stickers on this guitar only indicate the model #, and inspected by" #. It seems to be all original. Has a Kahler Flyer trem, mini-Grovers, and what I believe to be a set-in neck. The two single coil's sound really good, and the humbucker (enclosed under a black cover with allen-head polepieces), is very hot and very powerful. No hum, and very little hum from the two single coils also. The guitar plays fantastic, sounds even better. Good frets, low action, and nice inlays. Having trouble trying to upload images of this......

Wouldn't be this guitar by chance would it? Found those pics on Axe central, I have a strong feeling they are your images though as they were posted 3 days ago... I know nothing about Yakima guitars. As someone else already stated on AxeCentral, there were "gobs of guitars under gobs of different names" made in korea and japan at that time. Might have been made by Matsumoku, but I'm really only guessing with that. It's a pretty guitar anyway. Chris
