I'm about twenty years younger than you, and I couldn't tell you the names of at least half the bands who are out there these days...and I stopped keeping track about ten years ago!

Well good then I don't feel to bad! my wife has a co-worker who is in a band..... they say they have lyrics in their songs but I don't even hear them, just screaming.... now I guess there is like 20 different kinds of metal?  |

 Yup, used to be a hair farmer.... 70's hard rock and 80's metal mainly, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Frank Zappa, Deep Purple, Thin Lizzy, KISS, Nazareth, Bad Company, Rush, yada yada... I do really enjoy some stuff from the 90's ie: Stone Temple Pilots, Alice In Chains, Kings X, Scatterbrain, Rage Against The Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Soundgarden, Galactic Cowboys, Suicidal Tendencies, Infectious Grooves, Living Colour, Satch, etc Nowadays, I'm more prone to Jazz and tragic hipster fair but I've really been diggin' on Clutch lately.. Makes me wanna turn up the amp and wreck some ssshhhhhtuphh.... |

I don't know... it sounds a lot like the new one by Joan Baez, except hers is more "meedly meedly meedly, Wooooowoooowoooooo, wheeeeeee".  |
