Where do you store your guitar? iv seen lots of differnt places to store the exspensive guitars, but when it comes down to it, you realy need something that is humidity and temperature monitored, like a room or special showcase that is specificaly tailored for it.
any suggestions?

Hey John, my wife got me that T-60 for our wedding anniversary... only she didn't know it until it came UPS... Fortunately, I have a very cool wife, and once she saw what I got her, she was cool with me getting the guitar (on eBay for $250!)...

I've been through that trauma..."Hey honey...look what you bought me!"
I've also been through the "sneak the guitar case into the house under the cover of darkness" phase.
Which one of those guitars is your favorite, or "go to" guitar?

Which one of those guitars is your favorite, or "go to" guitar? Actually, the black Ibanez Artist is my "go to" guitar... I've had that since '78. The T-60 is next. Especially if I'm trying to "dial in" a certain tone... That blond "Douglas" on the right is one I got from Rondo Music (actually, I got the Douglas, and the bass next to it at the same time for $315... shipping and all). I'm amazed (quite happily so) how easy it is to play. I barely had to fiddle with the setup at all. So I've been playing that one a bit more lately... Still, the Artist has a special place in my heart...

I worked in a music store in the late-70s/early-80s, and we had all of the big guitar brands. However, my favorite guitars in the shop were the Ibanez Artists. Very well made -- sounded killer. Also, they rarely had problems when they arrived, and were usually setup very well.

I'm buying kit guitars, first - because I can build'em MY way - and secondly - I can't afford a genuine Les Paul, lol

I've also been through the "sneak the guitar case into the house under the cover of darkness" phase. Hahaha I better stock up before I get married. I usually leave my instruments in cases or on stands, the ones on stands tend to get played a lot more often. I think I'm going to go with the whole wall rack setup soon enough though.

I got busted the other day... The guy across the street brought over a UPS package that had been mistakenly delivered to his house. It was for me, from WebStrings... The wife answered the door... She actually didn't really get upset. She figured strings are the least of her worries.... On the up-side, turns out the guy across the street plays guitar, too! Now I have someone to jam with (not to mention, compare gear with)!!! Cool....

I've been busted by the UPS guy. He always shows up at the worst possible time. It's those big boxes that create the most controversy!
