I saw on the internet last night that it is official: Van Halen is back with Wolfie Van Halen on bass and Dave Lee Roth on vocals. They are supposedly heading out on the road this Summer.
I am a huge VH fan, and I am excited...but what do you all think? Is it a good thing or a bad thing? What happened to Michael Anthony?
More to follow on this...maybe there'll be some new VH songs to learn!

Not so fast...I watched the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony last night. Michael Anthony and Sammy Hagar represented Van Halen. They both showed tremendous class.
The other three original members didn't show.
Did anybody else see the show?

John I didn't see the show, but I did see a show out of Canada called The Hour that reported Dave didn't show up due to a tiff over what songs would be played. I read in the paper last week that Eddie is in rehab. No word on Alex. Supposedly, Sam and Michael performed "Why Can't This Be Love" with Velvet Revolver. -Mike

Finally! It is happening! Here is the link to the rehearsal photos, and please check out the videos! Note -- There are many there, and they are pretty incredible. www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=80934 Is that Ed playing a Peavey guitar? Looks like the headstock has been "modified". The GuitarAttack Crew has tickets for one of the first shows. Stay tuned for a full after action review (AAR). Good luck, John
