my arsenal consists of: -- My beloved Saga LC-10 (currently under construction) -- Yamaha EF-10 dreadnought, just refinished. Installed piezo pickup and onboard active preamp/3 band equalizer. She's not much to look at, but she's never let me down. -- Squier Strat. HH setup w/ master tone/vol. EMG 85/81. She was my main axe for several years, but I sold her to finance my Saga Les Paul kit. *R.I.P.* -- Digitech RP200A effects processor -- Ernie ball .9 light gauge super slinkies (pink) -- Tortex yellow sharps, awesome for speed picking! -- Currently ampless, but I've been plugging into a small Fender bass amp

I also use Sonar... and a rackful of other stuff I've had for years. I have a number of amps, but I keep going back to my POD for use with headphones.
Do any of you have a POD 2.0? Would you be interested in downloading my patch for the "Brown Sound" featured on the FrankenStrat page?
Let me know, John

My rig:
-Marshall 2205 channel switching. Nuff said!
-2 - 4 x 12 celestion loaded custom made straight front cabinets w/stereo switches on the back.
-POD XT Live modeling effects pedal board. I run this into the Marshalls effects return and get tones from clean to mean and everything in between!

My most prized guitar is a Martin HD 28. (I bought it to replace a D 28 I sold way back when I was bummed out because I had no talent and didn't feel worthy of such a fine instrument. Wish I had it back.)
Two Alverez acoutics. An old 5043 and a Yari Classical. Both about early 70s.
An Esteban (It's not bad) American Legend Torquoise edition electric acoustic. After a little adjustment, it's turned out to be a decent guitar to beat around with. You can probably find just as good a guitar on the internet for less or about the same money.
A Jap Fender Strat with a floyd rose type tremelo system (early 80s).
A Fender Reverb 25 amp and a couple of low watt practice amps.
Recently purchased a Boss BR 600 digital recorder to fool around with. Loads of fun! Lots of built in effects. I can actually make myself sound pretty good......

I love threads like this. Here is what my rig usually consists of during a gig:
Electric guitar (list to follow) Boss TU-2 Tuner BBE Green Screamer Digitech Bad Monkey Boss BD-2 Blues Driver BBE Sonic Stomp -- all into a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe *clean channel only for me*
I seem to be piling up a few electrics: 2006 MIM Fender Telecaster (GFS Lil' Puncher Bridge pickup) Saga ST-10 - first build w/Tonerider Pure Vintage pickups Saga LC-10 - second build Saga TC-10 - third build Saga ST-10 - in the mail and on the way!
Some other gear I don't use as much: VOX Valvetronix AD15VT (Great amp, perfect for practicing at home) Boss Chorus Ensemble pedal
Unfortunately, I have all this great stuff, but usually play acoustic guitar. For those purposes, I have a great Epiphone Masterbilt EF500RA (sunburst). It's a really great acoustic as I already said. In there I've got an LR-Baggs Ibeam pickup.

Andy -- How do you like the BBE stompboxes? I believe they are about the only ones out there I haven't tried.
Thanks, John

I love them John. I used to have more, I've owned or played through:
Green Screamer Sonic Stomp Crusher Distortion Orange Crush (Compressor) Boosta Grande (Boost) Freq Boost (Treble booster) Fuzz (can't remember the name)
They are all made really well, and do just what they say. I wasn't a huge fan of the Crusher, it was a little to much distortion for me, thats why I use the Green Screamer instead. They are all quality pedals though, and I'm surprised they aren't real popular
