All -- We are making a request for some more Saga stories -- that is, Saga Sagas. We are looking for some stories on Les Paul-like Sagas, as well as the PRS-like kits.
Will we turn down T- and S-style kit stories? Absolutely not! However, we would like to see some info on some of the more non-traditional kits.
Keep those cards and letters (and emails) coming, John

Thanks John I saw it this morning. Great tip about mineral spirits, wish I'd known that sooner, however it all turned out great anyway. Chris

All -- We are getting an incredible number of submissions for Saga Sagas.
If you send a story in for submission, don't be dismayed if it doesn't show up immediately on the site. We are working through a backlog, and just keep checking back.
Thanks for all of your help, John

Is their a particular format you'd like to see, cause I will submit the AXL Stat Saga like kit when it gets done.
Also is it possible their might be a from scratch build area in the future? I have built 2 guitars so far and plan to do more in the future. This site was part of my decision to start the first one. Somewhere I remember reading that if you build one, you will be hooked. That is so true, so very true.
Thanks John for putting together such a great site with lots of info as well as inspiration to carve a piece of wood into a working guitar.

Concerning formats, we like to see three to four photos (JPEGs), with closeups of special features, i.e. the silkscreened cards on the gold LP model.
Check out the other write-ups. We prefer a sequential description of the process you used with your guitar. We edit them down, but we particularly like to see brands of paints mentioned, as well as any particular method found to be useful.
Remember -- this is about learning, and your lessons learned are most useful. Anybody can read instructions -- what we really learn from is our errors!
Good luck, John

I put together a Saga LP kit. The instructions for the electrical wiring were poor. The wires were supposed to be color-coded but were not. The switch had two red wires and two black wires but it is not clear what they are attached to other than a group of wires to the amp input.I am still trying to make it work electrically. Getting frustrated. Anybody have any suggestions??

I put together a Saga LP kit. The instructions for the electrical wiring were poor. The wires were supposed to be color-coded but were not. Here is a link to a wiring diagram from Seymour Duncan: www.seymourduncan.com/support/schematics/2h_2v_2t_3w.htmlI couldn't find a manual to explain the wiring diagram. You might just have to start over. Good luck, John
