Happy New yer to all of you on Guitar Attack!
Wow! What a year. Me, I am not going to make any new years resolutions. I did for this year and all of them pretty much went out the window.
The wife and I had to, once again deal with a lot of things, and the virus. We ended up moving right in the middle of all the stuff going on. It was hard finding a place to move to. But we did and now live in Alabama. Never thought we would end up here. But we like it lot!
I know a lot of you have gone through the ringer too. We know of a lot of friends that had come down with the virus. Everyone one of them have survived it. Some had it for a day or two some had for 2 weeks. But they did get through it and are doing well.
I didn't think that I would ever get to build another guitar again. But here I am almost 4 years later and I am back at it. I so miss all of the cool tools I once had. But, if I had held on to them, they would have ended up in storage and not being used. We live in an upstairs condo, and it would not be fun trying to get all of the tools I once had up there. LOL!
Plus at the time I got rid of everything, I was thinking I was on my way out. I was not doing well at all.
But this year my life did take a big turn for the better. I had to have my gallbladder removed, and my doctor put me on a drug that helped me with nerve pain. I still have some but no where what I use to have. My doctor also made me go on a diet. I have lost around 15 pounds. He wants me to get down to 185. I don't know if I'll make it there. I was over 200 pounds and getting heaver.
So not all bad in 2020. If feels good to feel good. I still have some days where I don't feel as good. But for the most part I keep having more good than bad.
Next year will be interesting to say the least. Things seem to have calmed down for now. But I can't help and wonder if we are in the calm before the storm. Hum...
So my friends, be safe tonight and throughout the weekend. If you have to drink don't drive, Please find someone that can take you home. Don't drink and drive, PLEASE! I have lost to many friends over the years from drunk drivers.
Wow! 2021.
Thanks again to all of you and your support and being so encouraging to me.
