All --
As we get closer to hot weather, a cautionary note: Don't leave your guitar in a hot car. If it is too hot for you, it is too hot for your guitar.
Just as an approaching winter brings lots of top cracks into the shop due to lack of humidity, summer brings lots of lifting bridges and brace problems (acoustic) and finish and neck problems (electrics). While good for business, I would prefer for our Forum Members to avoid the expense and sadness associated with a weather-related repair.
Thanks, and enjoy the Summer!
John

Hot weather has arrived in Tennessee and so have the guitar problems! We went seven months without a day over 90 degrees F and it seems like we got a week straight of them last week!
It drives me crazy (figuratively) to open a case and the guitar is almost hot enough to cook on! Take care of your instruments!

I had a gal looking at my 40 year old Aria acoustic this morning saying what good care I take of my guitars. I told I never leave them in cars ever, during the day or overnight. Because of what hot or cold can do guitars.
Good reminder John!
