Awesome design concept. No only gold foil but your slide pickup as well. Very cool. What is the actual body/neck from? Looks great!

The body is a genuine Fender alder body with a nitro finish. The bridge and most of the hardware is also Fender. The neck is maple/rosewood from AllParts; it was white wood when I got it and I applied the nitro finish.
I custom cut the pickguard, back plate, and headstock cap from plastic stock. Electronics consist of a regular 3-way switch, master volume, and master tone.

I did wonder whether you'd laminated the headstock too because the picture didn't show that far up the neck. This is just great John.

Pretty cool looking! The pickguard reminds me of the 80's. IN CA there was a christian band named Stryper. They had guitars and stuff that looked something like this. Are you going to do any sound videos on it?
