Those sites really tick me off They try and sell knockoff EVH Wolfgangs on there too. Then you see them end up on ebay or craigslist and the seller (now knowing he didn't get a real EVH Wolfgang) for $599.00 ha ha ha tries to sell it as the real deal for a profit to some unsuspecting buyer. The dead give away though is the recessed knockoff floyd and the ugly fat headstock that is way off from actual thing. They even have the nerve to sell bodies and necks using Musikrafts own website pictures and listing info. I contacted Mr. Jamerson and he said that unfortunetely he probably could't do anything since it was in China Then he said he felt sorry for whoever got one of those items.

I remember back in the 70s that the Bradley brand of guitars from Venneman Music/Music Emporium in Northern Virginia had a catalog with real Gibson and Fender guitars pictured with the logos crudely removed. The Bradleys were basically Ibanez lawsuit/Motsumoku-made guitars with a Bradley logo. They were killer -- you know, that cheap stuff made in Japan! I think the quality of the knockoffs will continue to improve until we can't distinguish them from the real thing. Did you see the story in the news this week about the fake Apple stores in China? Buyer beware! John

Glad I don't need any of that Apple stuff...ha ha ha! Some stuff isn't bad but other things... not so much. Never heard of the Bradleys but sounds interesting John.

The December 2011 Guitar Player magazine is focused on guitars under $399. There are some amazing axes in there, particularly for the money.
