I didn't realize you could still buy super Bullets!John I used the super bullets for several years back in the 70s. At that time the "bullet" end was steel. The current version has brass ends. My experience with the current version was that one of the bullets came off after I brought the strings to tension. This never happened back in the 70s. As a retired statistician I fully recognize the folly of making a conclusion from a sample of one but ... with so many quality strings to choose from there was no reason to go back to the bullets

My wife teases me because I'm kind of a one strike guy. Never more than twice. What's that old saying?.."fool me once"

One more on the strings. I had a rep give me several packs of the Ernie Ball Paradigm strings when they first came out a few years back.
I put them on a guitar and really didn't care for them. They had an odd feel which was probably due to my long-term use of nickel strings. I know...small sample size, big conclusion.
I have a repair I am working on for a Metal Guy and I may try them again.

Thanks John, I have not heard of these strings but I may give them a try. Not to say that I'm dissatisfied with my current strings.
