Here's some new pictures of the guitar that dnic so nicely put as mad scientist I think it's coming out pretty good I'm done with the finish just need to figure out the wiring and put it all together. Then once I'm finished I get to start on my first commissioned build for a friend. It's gonna be a neck through 4 string fretless and my most ambitious build yet so expect me to be asking some questions especially about the neck construction we're still working out the woods for the neck but for the wings we're going with spalted red alder Attachments:

It does have the mad scientist feel which is cool. You could do a play by play on the neck thru, and congrats on your first commissioned build. I hope to build commissioned acoustics some day. Good luck!

I like the finish a lot, the transparent green. What kind of pup in the middle?

That's an interesting looking pup. I've been very happy with the GFS pups I've used in the past. Hope we get a sound sample out of you.

Almost done with the wiring and I only burned myself like 5 times Just started using a hemostat very useful for wiring. No burnt fingers.

Looked up the hemostat might have to invest in one I was also looking at the helping hand thing with the alligator clips and magnifying glass

The helping hands thing would be very nice to have, I wear a magnifying visor when I solder. The hemostat also acts as a heat sink.

Big plus on the magnifier. Makes it much more precise.

For the wiring setup I first wired the humbucker to a 4p6t rotary I replaced one of the tone knobs with this that way I'll get the following options out of the humbucker 1 humbucker in series 2 humbucker parallel in phase 3 humbucker in series with screw coil bypassed with a 10k resistor 4 split to screw coil 5 split to slug 6 in series out of phase I then wired that along with the two single coils to the 6 way freeway switch to get 1 n 2nm 3m 4mb 5b 6nb Hopefully I did it all correctly

Very cool guitar the look turned out very nice. The wiring is awesome but out of all that I like being able to have n/b on a three pup guitar.
