An update on this build. It's been finished for well over a month now I've just been to busy with other things to get some pics and a video shot. Will do that and upload a soon as I get a chance.

Ok finally, the next video. In this one I talk about what went into the guitar wood types hardware pickups ext. then I demo the different pup sounds and needlessly rag on myself as a player. I do still intend to get a better playing demo.

Great outcome Dane. In a perfect world it would already have sold!
I particularly like that relief on the headstock profile and the "J" is so understated. Nighthawks are way cool anyhow.
And... "every time I do this, I can't think of anything to play" - yep, I know that feeling!

Great demo! Cool guitar, and it sounds like a blast to play.
My guitar demos seem to go that route too, with the self ragging, haha. If only we could all play like John!

Thanks for the kind words fellas.
Why does someone that hates being in pictures and videos start posting on YouTube? I have no idea but anytime the camera rolls and I'm playing I just pretty much lock up and suck big time. But for now I fill like this is what I need to do.
Hoz, if John demo'd this guitar it would sell. And it is a sweet guitar that needs a home.

Enjoyed the demo, Dane, and thanks for the plug for the pickups. That is a very cool instrument...something you can't buy at the local music super-store.
Nice work, and thanks for sharing, as always.

Won't say what it went for but my hourly rate went up so I'm pretty happy. Goes way past the money though when someone parts with their cash for your creation it feels very good.
